Edgar’s Eyewear is an Optical and Wholesale Lab. We have a full service lab on site which enables us to provide our customers with the lowest pricing available. We pride ourselves with our one on one customer service, to spend as much time as necessary with our patients so they are 100% satisfied with the clarity and comfort of their eyeglasses.

Our desire is for our customers to leave the office with the feeling that they have never had a better pair of glasses. Edgar’s Eyewear’s mission is to provide QUALITY glasses at REASONABLE prices. We are located in Anaheim, off of Euclid, conveniently between the 5 and 91 freeways.

Edgar Alain Basto received his Optometrist, Optician Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Technician degree at the University of Havana in Cuba. He escaped Cuba and arrived in Miami, Florida in 1995 where he worked as an Optometrist / Ophthalmic Technician for Shapiro Vision Center. It is in Miami where he started his wholesale and dispensing lab for other Ophthalmologists.

He relocated to California in 1999 where he worked for Eye Physicians in Los Alamitos. In 2003 Edgar opened his Optical and Wholesale Laboratory in Anaheim. Today Edgar is involved with American Career College as an Optical Instructor and Stewart Optical by providing continuing education classes for Licensed Opticians. His interests include Judo, fishing and scuba diving.
